Confirming and Unconfirming Account Contacts
Confirming contacts is an important way to indicate a contact has been confirmed as staying at a particular address.  This would signify the contact is eligible to receive correspondence from the company.

There are two ways to flag the contact as confirmed.  Firstly it can be done from the account manager screen or in the contact maintenance screen (See the Editing, Copying and Creating an Account Contact section for details).

The way to do this via the Account Manager Screen is to click the confirm / unconfirm button located to the left of the "Contact" box, the button with the red question mark.  If the contact is unconfirmed the indicator box to the left of the button will be highlighted in red with a "U" in the box.  Also the address in the "Contact" box wil have "<UNC>" at the end again to indicate the address is unconfirmed (see image below).

Once the button has been clicked to confirm the contact, the indicator will turn green with a "C" in the box and at the end of the address details will change to "<CON>" (see image below).
