Editing an Account Contact |
There are several
ways to view an existing contact from the
account manager screen. You can select the
Contact folder in the left hand pane of the
screen which will load up the contact tab in the
bottom frame of the screen then select the
contact you require and click the "UPDATE"
button (See Creating and
Updating an Account Contact).
You may also double click on the contact you
wish to edit from the "Contact" box or select
the contact and click the button with the folder
icon to the top right of the "Contact" box.
Both methods will launch the contact maintenance
screen with the contact details loaded.
From here you may edit the details and save your
changes.

By double clicking
the Account Link in the browse or selecting the
account link and clicking select will load this
account into the current account manager screen. |

Creating an Account Contact |
Apart from the way
to create an account contact outlined in
Creating and Updating an
Account Contact you may launch a blank
contact maintenance screen to enter the details
of a new contact by clicking on the button with
the "+" sign to the right of the "Contact" box.
Click the link above to view instructions on

Copying an Account Contact |
Sometimes you may wish
to create a new contact with a different name but maybe
staying at the same address as a contact you already
have on the account. Ascent saves you the hassle
of having to retype the address details etc. By
clicking on the button with the double folder icon to
the right of the "Contact" box will launch a contact
maintenance screen with only the address details of the
contact you had chosen to copy. This will allow
you to add the remaining details you require and save as
a new contact on the account. |
